University of Technology of Mauritius.

The University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM), School of Public Sector Policy and Management, has the determination to become one of the leading tertiary education institutions of the region. UTM is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The building of the new campus near Moka in the coming years will enable the UTM to increase its number of students, the number of programmes offered and provide better facilities. Further programmes are being run for: the National Computing Centre (NCC) UK; training Public Officers with the Ministry for Civil Service Affairs; PC essentials Courses for Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Senior Officers of Ministries; BSc in Computer Applications (BCA) of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with the Mauritius College of the Air (MCA). As far as consultancy work is concerned the institution has been involved in such projects at both national and international levels. It has been dealing with very demanding clients (example Commonwealth Secretariat, British American Tobacco Ltd) and so far all the clients have been satisfied with the outcome.
